Spice brand new ‘Captured’ Mixtape now available

Dancehall Queen Spice shook up the internet recently when she replaced all her Instagram photos and videos. She added the photo below with  the captioned, “nothing wrong with a fresh start”.
It was a promotional move for her single  ‘Black Hypocrisy’ which also had a music video.
There was an uproar, what Spice did definitely caught the 
attention of the world with mentions on Dailymail, BET, Wendy Williams Show, TMZ, ABC News, Essence Magazine and more. 

The new music video off the Captured Mixtape released
on November 2nd, highlights her experiences with colorism and the struggles she faced as a darker toned woman, including being referred to as “too Black” and “dirty.” 

Appearing in her natural skin tone on the video while urging young women to love themselves and their Black skin.

Spice has been one of the biggest names in Dancehall for a very long time now, achieving worldwide success with songs including ‘Romping Shop,’ ‘So Mi Like It’ and ‘Conjugal Visit.’ This year, she joined the cast of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, alongside stars including Tommie Lee, Mimi Faust Stevie J and Erica Mena.

The new music video “Black Hypocrisy” was top 5 trending video on YouTube in the United States and the UK and number one trending in several countries around the world including in Jamaica.

The extra buzz surrounding her new content helped her to clock over 1.1 million views on YouTube making her the first Dancehall artists to achieve this with a solo song.

The project is now available on iTunes for pre-order, and word is that her fans have been pre-ordering the project ahead of its release. This means that Spice is poised for a number one album on Billboard.
