Never Ending‘ the brand new album from Beres Hammond is here. The 14-track album contains quality music all round, it’s released via VP Records. Known for his signature rich, smooth, soulful vocals. The first release from the album was ‘I’m Alive’. This is Beres Hammond’s first full length studio album in six years.

Born in Annotto Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica on Aug. 28, 1955, Hammond’s career began in the early 70’s as the lead singer of the band Zap Pow. His influences include veteran Jamaican singers Ken Boothe, Leroy Sibbles and the late king of rock steady Alton Ellis.

Other tracks from the album include ‘Land of Sunshine‘ which reflects the pride and joy of Jamaica. The new album continues on the grand tradition of a romantic balladeer with sensitivity and swagger of Beres Hammond.

Beres worked in collaboration with longtime recording studio partners; Willie Lindo, Kirk Bennett, Handel Tucker, Errol ‘Flabba’ Carter, Leroy & David Heywood aka “Mafia & Fluxy,” Winston ‘Bopee’ Bowen, Dean Fraser and Robbie Lyn, among others.

Beres’s sophisticated musical taste is well suited to translate easily across cultural divide. Speaking to the Billboard, he notes:  “I’ve never got a Grammy but what the people have given me over so many years, I don’t know if a Grammy could make me feel that way,” says Beres Hammond.
