A cheerful trip to Jamaica visually courtesy of Director Dameon Gayle, Christopher Martin’s new video for “Life.”

The up-tempo, feel-good song about not taking life for granted starts with flashbacks to Chris’s childhood and playing soccer, then fast forwards to now, of him at a pool hall with friends, enjoying and cherishing the moment.

The video also has a cameo by Reggae superstars D-Major and Busy Signal.

“Life” is Chris Martin’s latest single from his upcoming sophomore album “And Then,” set for a May 3 release via VP Records. “The song outlines how I was raised, my background, and where I came from.

I’m thankful for my journey and how it has brought me to a position in life where I have become a better person and can give back. In the song I say ‘Life is the most expensive thing’ and I feel it should be treated as such and cherished.

The video was good vibes, it was good to have my brother Busy Signal [on set]. We just wanted a simple video that captured the message, showing the simplicity in life and just hanging out.” Martin tells Billboard.

The anticipated album, “And Then” is the follow up to Martin’s debut full-length album, “Big Deal”, which reached the top 5 on the Reggae Billboard Charts in 2017.
