On 16 January 2011 Buju Banton for the last time set foot onstage before a live audience in Miami.

The National Stadium in Jamaica was the venue, and fans gathered in their numbers to see this historic show “Long Walk To Freedom” concert.

Fans arrived from all walks of life locally and internationally for Buju Banton 1st show.

Support on the night came from Chronixx, Cocoa Tea, Agent Sasco, Etana, Beres Hammond, Christopher Martin, plus lots more.

Following an absence of eight years from the industry, Buju Banton’s 2019 homecoming concert marks a new chapter. Undoubtedly one of the biggest show in Jamaica and memorable moment for Reggae music.

Patrons arrived early into the venue with sound system warming up, before you knew it the National Stadium was at capacity. Phones lights on, fans full of joy and happiness taking in the energy and recording every moment.

After establishing his own charity on the island of Jamaica, called Buju Banton Foundation, another key component for Buju Banton on the Long Walk to Freedom Tour is to tie in each show with a local charity in each country he performs.
