Beenie Man had the title track “Bookshelf” which off course was a hit for both male and female fans alike. Other popular cuts include Sean Paul ” Deport Dem” which was very popular locally and internationally, the same can be said about the Wayne Wonder, Sasha, Mr Vegas, Devonte and Tanto Metro. Basically this was a hit production which had more than just one hit songs and it is still being played to date and having the same exciting effect.

The “Bookshelf Riddim” was a simple but catchy production with a wicked bass line. The flute sounding-like synth is just one of a kind. Even now when the riddim drops you automatically just to move, it’s infectious in the best way possible.  

It’s safe to say the “Bookshelf Riddim” is a  classic 1990’s production and that’s a massive accomplishment because the 1990’s is considered one of Dancehall greatest era. 

Fast forward to September 2018 the “Bookshelf riddim” has a rebirth with Khalia Million who is signed to Tony Kelly’s K-Liciouis label has just released “My Name”.
