‘Hope River’ is a “representation of where I am musically, mentally, and spiritually,” says Sasco. The album embodies humble beginnings, gratitude and spirituality, ethics that were instilled in the star as he grew up. The album is rich with great instrumentals and a wide range of instruments.

The opening track ‘Energy River’ invokes a chant rhythm and positive energy. Tunes like ‘So Blessed’ (featuring Dre Island) and the gospel influenced ‘Mama Prayed’ featuring Glacia Robinson showed clearly Agent Sasco intention to explore different sounds and feel.

‘Banks of Hope’ many may say is the title track of the album and Sasco agree’s. This track represent his growth as a young child in Kentyre, despite not having all, he surly had love from his parents and everything he needed for greatness. Sasco explains the excitement of having his 2017 Upsetta Records produced ‘Winning Right Now’ picked for a Nike school campaign in Jamaica on the interview.

His personal touch and experience makes the album reliable with topics for everyone. ‘Change’ features Spragga Benz (a mentor to Sasco), Kabaka Pyramid and Ghanaian Afro-Dancehall artist Stonebwoy. Its a political subject touching on many points and was delivered excellently.

‘Journey’ which features Wayne Marshall is a hard hitting Dancehall track and a personal favourite says Agent Sasco. When ask why he replied “my first air play in Jamaica was due to Wayne Marshall and its something i’ll never forget, so its great having the opportunity to record a song with him”.

Sasco also explains that he feels very bless to have a collaboration with Stephen Marley, not because he’s the son of Bob Marley but due his musical abilities which are out of this world.

Rapidly rising songstress Sevana had a feature on the album with ‘They Will Rob You’, which feature the legendary icon Mr John Holt on the hook. This one crossover marked all over it.

The album over all sets yet another altitude of gratitude for the star. It is an intriguing listen. The music is diverse, so is the features, its a must for your musical collection.
