Supercat – rides in town for another party

There are stars within the Dancehall genre and then there are stars. What category would you put Wild Apache in?

Supercat story isn’t your normal story, this man started out in the ghetto or some people may say the slums but despite this, he made a big name for himself in the world of music.

From the days of Stereo Mars Sound System, Killamanjaro Sound System, from the days when Supercat and Nicodemus, Burro Banton, Cutty Ranks, Tena Saw, Early B were rocking dancehall in Jamaica and pioneering this craft of toasting to the present.

Cat name has always carried weight within the genre, rated by many of his fellow artists and producers, even in the Hip Hop genre he has respect.
So loved and respect that he headlined new concert series, Iconz, held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This project is the brainchild of Swizz Beatz.

Over the years Supercat has become very hard to see live, he doesn’t partake in many live concerts.

So when he was confirmed as a headlined act for the concert, this created a major buzz on social media.
It was a Caribbean affair inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, other artists at the concert included Barrington Levy, Konshens, Dexta Daps, Kranium, Cham.

Shouts to everyone who attended the show, the energy was out of this world for not only Supercat but all the other artists on the bill.
