Spice rocks The Gambia

The Queen of Dancehall, Spice created history, becoming the first female artiste from Jamaica to perform in the West Africa.

Spice arrived in Gambia on Friday after travelling for over two days with her Team Spice dancers.

Throughout the streets, the fans shouted ‘Gaza’ even as Spice and the entourage were being driven from the airport. The Jamaican-born singer performed at the QCity on the 23rd February alongside One Force Sound and DJ Pisces’ One Tribe Sound.

Embracing the culture, Spice wrapped her head and wore her customary blue attire, “How could I come to #Africa and not get my head wrap. I’m so elated to be here in the Motherland. Gambia the Smiling coast another place off my bucket list 🤗 , of course, we gonna blue up over here 💙💙💙💙💙,” Spice wrote on Instagram.

She also shared a photo with some adorable Gambia kids, “I wish I could take them home🤗 #Gambia #Africa #MotherLand finally in my dream place 😍,” she said.

Spice and her dancers brought the sheet and the fire on stage. “I am going to bring the sheet and set the place on fire,” she had hinted in a video.
