Monster Shock Crew, Jamaican Dancehall group consisted of General B, Round Head, and Ghost. In the 90s they dominated the scene both locally and internationally, there was just something special about the group and each member. Ask anyone who has attended one of their concerts, and they will tell you.
General B and Round Head were the DJs in the crew while Ghost was the singer with a very unique tone and range. When the microphone was passed to Ghost the ladies would be weak, just singing along to his songs line by line. In Dancehall he still rated as a champion especially by the lovers of 90s Dancehall.
Chronixx is known for his love of Dancehall which he has stated numerous times and it’s only right because he grew up in the era of Dancehall. Chronixx recently expressed that Ghost from Monster Shock Crew was one of his inspirations growing up.
“One of the wickedest voice in Dancehall. I used to practice all a ghost runs as a youth. Monster Shock was and always will be one of my greatest inspirations when it comes to delivering Dancehall with class. If you listen my song ‘So Brutal’ on the Loco Riddim. That’s my Ghost self lol,” he said.
Chonixx also showed love and respect to Popcaan, saying he has the maddest melodies in the Jamaican industry. Read more
