Chukki Starr is a well known name in the UK Reggae Dancehall music industry, rising from Stonebridge North West London. He has a score of hits to his name including ‘Goodas Gal’, produced by Stonehead of the UK-based Volcano sound, ‘Career Time‘, ‘Who Dem Fi Rate’, ‘Almighty Father’, also a collaboration with Don Campbell, ‘Reggae Music So Sweet’ just to name a few. Not only is Chukki Starr known in the UK, he’s been on the Jamaican scene for many years recording with the likes of Bobby Digital, Good Good productions and others. Throughout the years Chukki has maintained a high profile in the music scene releasing quality tracks whether Reggae or Dancehall.
Fast forward to the present he’s gearing up to release a new album, which he talks about in this interview, also how the culture has changed with social networks, advantages and disadvantages. He’s strongly considering moving to Jamaica, listen as he explains reason behind this and lots more.
