It is official. Reggae star Buju Banton will perform his first concert following his release from prison in December 2018, on March 16, 2019, at the National Stadium, Kingston, Jamaica. Banton and his 10-piece Shiloh Band will perform a 90-minute set at the Long Walk to Freedom dubbed concert, presented by Miami-based Best of the Best Productions and Kingston’s Solid Agency.
The March 16 concert marks the beginning of a series of shows set to take place over the next few months as part of the Long Walk to Freedom tour.
In a news release late last month announcing the concert date, Buju’s promotional team said tickets would have been made available on his official website at www.bujubanton.com/
