Bounty Killer is his stage name, one of many. Rodney Basil Price is the name his mother gave him, and he’s one of Jamaica’s most famous Dancehall artists.
This mix is based on his 90s hits, and if you’re a fan of 90s Dancehall then you would know the impact Bounty Killer had on the era. Bounty Killer was a favorite at stage shows and among the sound systems in Jamaica and worldwide, he was the champion gladiator.
In this 90s mix, you will hear songs like Mama which was a special tribute to his mother who he loved and adored. Down In The Ghetto where he addresses the state of how the lower class lived in Jamaica and asked the politicians the questions the normal public couldn’t. And of course, you will hear hardcore songs like Dead This Time, Suspense, No Interview, Bwoy Nah Run.
