Picking up from six times Grammy nominations, including five times Best Reggae Album,  one time Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for ‘It Wasn’t Me’ and yes, winning Grammy in 1996 for his album Boombastic; Shaggy and Sting won the Best Reggae Album category in the recently announced Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony.

Shaggy accepted the Award live on stage with Sting absent from the ceremony. Most recently Shaggy announced the release of his new album “Wah Gwaan?!” for May 10, 2019. 

Also nominated in the Best Reggae Album category were: Black Uhuru – As The World Turns.
Ziggy Marley – Rebellion Rises

 Etana – Reggae Forever (Reggae Forever is the first album by a female to be nominated for Best Reggae Album in 21 years.)
