Clarks is like the unofficial footwear for Reggae music. Not sure who was the first artist or producer to wear the footwear, but it gave birth to an everlasting fashion style in the culture.

Clarks has been mentioned in so many songs for example Vybz Kartel, Popcaan, Gaza Slim tracked called Clarkes, which got Jamaica and the world buying Clarks at a rapid rate.
The brand pay homage to Jamaica with the latest line, there are numerous designs with some having the Jamaican colours on there.
This will create a buzz on the Island and worldwide because brand Jamaica is an incredible pulling power. Clarks respect the fact that Jamaica has done so much for the brand they have set up a community partnership with Maverley Primary and Junior High School in Kingston.

Maverley is an important area for Raheem Sterling, a key ambassadors for the brand, and this partnership was made possible with the support of Al Fingers, author of the ‘Clarks in Jamaica’ book.
Clarks is also working closely with Jamaican singer/songwriter Koffee and her non-profit organisation, Families Rule/MTLT – a charity that focuses on youth empowerment through training, mentorship, and scholarships.
